Whilst we have some amazing people working tirelessly to improve these kids’ lives, we could always do with some more help!
The main thing we’re looking for are patient, caring people who can improve the kids’ speaking English and communication skills (and a love of almost constant laughter, smiles and playing games doesn’t hurt either!)
Vandana & Baggie do an incredible job, but with almost 50 kids, there’s always lots to be done. These 2 will no doubt become firm friends, and we challenge anyone not to fall in love with the kids.
If you’re interested in volunteering, as well as getting to make a huge difference to these kids’ lives, you’ll also learn how to cook local delicious food, see a side of India you’d never normally get to see, make lifelong friends and become part of the JPP family. JPP is a collaborative project, and we’d love for you to stay involved and help us develop the project together. We’ve had people from all over the world getting involved, and each of them has left a positive mark on the project.
We can recommend some cheap places to stay whilst you’re volunteering at the project, and you’ll get lunch every day with the kids. Of course, we don’t expect you to pay anything for helping us – your time and care is worth more than any amount of money you could give (we’ve never really got why so many volunteer places ask people to pay…)
And if you have any questions at all, from the trivial to the monumentally important – you can contact either Beth, Will, Harry or Edd who will tell you all you could possibly need to know!
